Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information MamaTool does and does not collect, and how advertising and cookies work on our website.

Effective date: November 6, 2026.

This Privacy Policy applies to the website mamatool.com (the "Site", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

1. Summary

  • You do not need an account to use MamaTool, and we do not ask you for personal information to use any tool.
  • The text, numbers, files and images you enter into our tools are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
  • We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
  • Some tools save data in your own browser (for example to-do items) so it is there when you return. That data stays on your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect Through the Tools

Our tools, such as the Word Counter, JSON Formatter, Password Generator, Image Compressor and Hash Generator, run as JavaScript in your browser. When you paste text or choose an image, the processing happens on your device. We do not receive the content, we cannot see it and we do not store it. Because we never have it, we cannot recover it for you or disclose it to anyone.

3. Information You Choose to Send Us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, name (if you provide it) and the content of your message. We use this information only to reply to you, to investigate problems and to improve the Site. The contact form on our Contact page works by opening your own email application with a pre-filled message. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your email app.

4. Local Storage on Your Device

Some features use your browser's localStorage, a small storage area on your own device. We use it for:

  • Theme preference: remembering whether you chose light or dark mode.
  • To-Do List and notes: saving your tasks and notes so they are available next time.
  • Pomodoro Timer settings: remembering your preferred focus and break lengths.
  • Articles you write: if you use the article publishing form, the article is saved in your browser only.

This information never leaves your device through our Site, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If you clear it, the saved items cannot be restored.

5. Log Files

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and date and time. This information is used to keep the Site secure, to diagnose technical problems and to understand overall traffic. It is not used to identify you personally.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. MamaTool itself does not require cookies for its tools to work. However, third-party services that we use, described below, may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, although some advertising features may behave differently if you do.

7. Google AdSense and DoubleClick Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies, including the DoubleClick advertising cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other sites on the internet. These cookies enable Google and its partners to show ads that may be relevant to your interests.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You may also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Third-party vendors and ad networks may place and read cookies, or use web beacons and similar technologies, directly in your browser when advertisements and links appear on our Site. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. We do not have access to or control over the cookies used by these third parties, and this policy does not cover their practices.

Where required by law, such as for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will present a consent mechanism for advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

8. Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics services, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are popular and which countries visitors come from. These services may use cookies and collect information such as your IP address, device information and pages viewed. The data is used in aggregate to improve the Site. Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

9. External Libraries and Links

To keep the Site lightweight, one tool loads a small open-source library from an external content delivery network. The QR Code Generator loads its code from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. When your browser requests that file, the provider receives standard request information such as your IP address. The text you turn into a QR code is still processed locally and is not sent to the provider.

Our pages may also contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

10. Children's Privacy

MamaTool is a general audience website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information.

  • GDPR (European Economic Area and United Kingdom): you may request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • CCPA/CPRA (California): you may request to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under California law, and you can opt out using the links in section 7.

Because we do not collect account data or the content you enter into our tools, there is usually little for us to provide. To make a request, email us at jamotbhai15@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law.

12. Data Security

We serve the Site over HTTPS and design our tools to keep your data on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your own device and browser safe and for not entering sensitive information into any website unless you are comfortable doing so.

13. Data Retention

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal obligations. Server log data is kept for a limited period determined by our hosting provider. Data saved in your browser stays there until you delete it.

14. International Visitors

The Site can be accessed from anywhere in the world. If you use it from outside the country where our hosting providers operate, information such as your IP address may be processed in other countries that may have different data protection laws.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add features or when laws change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top. Please review this page occasionally. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

16. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your information is handled, please contact us at jamotbhai15@gmail.com or through our Contact page. You may also want to read our Disclaimer.
